MARS Unplugged EP Release on Tuesday

Don't forget MARS' MTV Unplugged digital EP will be released on Tuesday, August 23rd. The 4 track set will include “Hurricane,” “Kings & Queens,” “Night Of The Hunter” and their inspiring rendition of the U2 classic “Where The Streets Have No Name.”

Less Than Zero - Bret Easton Ellis
Less Than Zero is a novel by Bret Easton Ellis, published in 1985. Titled after the Elvis Costello song of the same name, the novel follows the life of Clay, a rich young college student who has returned to his hometown of Los Angeles, California for the winter break during the early 1980s. 25 years later, upon the release of the sequel, Details commented on Less Than Zero and its original reviews, stating: "Years ago people could have read some of your books and said, "Oh, this is just nihilism. These people don't exist! There's nobody that rich and stupid and narcissistic!"". They also credit him with "In a way, [inventing] Paris Hilton and Spencer Pratt and the Kardashians."
Movie of the Week
Midnight Cowboy
Midnight Cowboy is a 1969 American drama film based on the 1965 novel of the same name by James Leo Herlihy. It was written by Waldo Salt, directed by John Schlesinger, and stars Dustin Hoffman and then-newcomer Jon Voight in the title role. Notable smaller roles are filled by Sylvia Miles, John McGiver, Brenda Vaccaro, Bob Balaban, and Barnard Hughes; M. Emmet Walsh is an uncredited, pre-fame extra. The film won three Academy Awards: Best Picture, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay. It is the only X rated film ever to win Best Picture.

O.M.G.! - Rusko
O.M.G.! is the debut album by British dubstep musician Rusko. It was released May 3rd 2010 for the UK, and May 4th 2010 for the US. The first singles from the album are Woo Boost and Hold On. Christopher Mercer, more commonly known as Rusko, is an English dubstep record producer and DJ.
