Interview with the Vampire
Interview with the Vampire is a vampire novel by Anne Rice written in 1973 and published in 1976. It was the first novel to feature the enigmatic vampire Lestat, and was followed by several sequels, collectively known as The Vampire Chronicles. A vampire named Louis tells his 200-year-long life story to reporter Daniel Molloy (who is only referred to as "the boy" in the novel). A film version, Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles, was released in 1994. To date, the novel has sold some 8 million copies worldwide.
Movie of the Week
Capote
Capote is a 2005 biographical film about Truman Capote, following the events during the writing of Capote's non-fiction book In Cold Blood. Philip Seymour Hoffman won several awards, including the Academy Award for Best Actor, for his critically acclaimed portrayal of the title role. The movie itself was based on the biography called Capote by Gerald Clarke. The movie was filmed mostly in Manitoba, in the autumn of 2004, and was released on September 30, 2005, to coincide with Truman Capote's 81st birthday.

Dead Kennedys - Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables
Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables is the debut album by the American hardcore punk band Dead Kennedys. It was released in September 1980 through Faulty Products in the United States (later by the DK's own Alternative Tentacles label) and through Cherry Red Records in the United Kingdom. The best selling and generally the most critically acclaimed album by the Dead Kennedys, Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables has become a major staple of American punk.

J/P Haiti Relief Organization Founded by actor and humanitarian Sean Penn, J/P HRO began its work just hours after the earthquake hit. Through his previous relief efforts — including experience rescuing hurricane victims and helping to rebuild New Orleans after hurricane Katrina — he had amassed a large network of emergency management and government contacts, whom he mobilized to take immediate action in Haiti. J/P HRO focuses on medical aid, protection and re-location, predominantly in Port au Prince.
